M56 Junction 16: Dunkirk, Chester (A494)
M56 J16: This is the last junction on the M56, at Dunkirk near Chester, and is where the motorway transitions into the A494, which continues west. The English–Welsh border is just over a mile further on.
Junction 15 is about three miles to the east, and Chester Zoo lies south of both junctions: about two and a half miles south-east of J16 and just under two miles south-west of J15. Ellesmere Port is about three miles to the north-east and Chester about four miles to the south-east.
